About Us
Kennedy Family Krafts is just that. A family of crafters means a family of friends. My father Gerald Kennedy graduated from the L.A. School of Art back in 1959. He
started as a classic artist. He could paint or draw portraits better than some well known artists. But he wasn't a gamblin' man, so I guess you could say he felt a
more secure future working for the railroad. Through the years he drew my mother into his talents as well, or you could say showed her talent she didn't know she
had. The plan was to retire and travel to do some painting together but unfortunately cancer had other plans.
Life has a way of changing what you may have planned for yourself. I myself became disabled and was lost for quite some time, then found satisfaction making jewelry.
It was years ago watching my parents that I thought they should open a gallery. Of course they weren't up for opening a business.
So we come to 2008. The age of the internet. So here we are. Sharing with you, and expanding to include other family and friends with artistic talents and giving them a place to share their work.
