They met back in the early '50s on a blind date, and were happily married for nearly 50 years until Jerry was stricken with cancer.

During the years of their marriage they practiced several crafts. It was years later I remember my father telling my mom she had an art class that night. She was a little stunned. She had never really drawn or painted a thing.
